Why We Do What We Do
Legacy Living was created from both professional experience and personal understanding.
As parents of a son with autism, we understand the concerns many families carry when thinking about the future care of their loved one. Finding a place that feels safe, calm, supportive, and truly equipped to care for individuals with developmental disabilities can be difficult and deeply personal.
At Legacy Living, we believe care should never feel institutional or impersonal. Every resident has their own personality, routines, strengths, challenges, and goals and those things matter. We intentionally keep our home small so every resident is truly known, supported, and never lost in the shuffle.
With more than 20 years of healthcare experience, including hands-on caregiving and nurse-led leadership, we built Legacy Living to provide personalized, person-centered care in a warm, home-like environment where residents are treated with dignity, compassion, patience, and respect.
More than anything, we wanted to create the kind of place we would want for our own family.
